On the last leg of the trip Nate and I did a couple of really short hikes in Yosemite National Park and got some great views of the park and some decent pictures. Hiking up close to Lower Yosemite Falls is an unforgettable experience. I am pretty sure you weren't supposed to go where we went but it wasn't roped off so we figured the experience would be entirely worth it even if we did get in a little trouble. The waterfall was deafening when hiking near it and the mist was so thick it felt like horizontal rain. After we got out of range of the mist we stopped and had lunch. It was the most awesome place I have ever eaten and the best part is no one said a thing when we came down. The only thing I regret about going to Yosemite was brevity of the trip. It seems like a place I could spend months at instead of days.

A decent view on our way to Yosemite. Things get much greener very quickly after this.
Pretty mountains on our drive from Sequoia to Yosemite.
A little side-trek that Nate and I took - hiking up this little stream.
Thats me - Jeff Novak - posing for a quick snapshot.

The waterfall that was creating the stream we hiked up.
Fantastic panoramic view of Yosemite Valley and Yosemite Falls.
Nate Wilbert parked at the bottom of Lower Yosemite Falls before our trek.
Thats me soaked from all the mist on the way up.

Nate Wilbert looking a little damp as well.
I don't really remember what I was eating here - I think turkey - it really didn't matter. Awesome view!
Terriffic view from on top the waterfall. You can see a little bit of mist kicked up in the picture.
The only worthwhile picture I have from San Francisco from the trip.
