Nate and I never really made it to Sequoia National Park only to Sequoia National Forest but it is hard to make that distinction. We did manage to drive through some beautiful country out in California in the Sierra Nevada Range thanks to a wrong turn taken by Nate. If you ask him he will say he took the wrong turn because I was asleep and didn't tell him where to get off but I am positive I told him. It worked out for the best because we went through some amazing valley with a horse ranch there which I wish I had pictures of. We then made it to Lake Isabella where we setup camp for the night. Then it was off to the Trail of a Hundred Giants in Sequoia National forest. The trees were enormous but little did I realize small in comparison to some of the trtees in the other Sequoia groves. Enjoy.

Our camp site before heading into Sequoia. We were definately not one with nature that day.
A great little creek right behind our campground. Something soothing about sleeping near running water.
One of our first looks at the Giant Sequoia trees.
A much larger Sequoia tree. Amazing how this is actually small compared to the General Sherman tree.

That's me in front of the same tree.
Nate Wilbert in front of the tree.
That's me standing inside of one of the trees. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
Everything was big about these trees - including the pine cones which are as large as my foot.

That's me standing on top of a Giant Sequoia.
Me, flexing my muscles, pretending I knocked down this tree.
Just before climbing up there I berated Nate for running away from a tiny little bee buzzing around up there.
Picture of me running away from that same bee like a little girl.
