These are the first pictures from an awesome one week trip taken by myself and my best bud Nate Wilbert. We started out in Austin, TX and made our way to the Grand Canyon - aka 'The Big Ditch'. Then we headed to California to check out Sequoia National Forest and Yosemite National Park and then we went on to hang out with a buddy of mine from high school in San Francisco. I had only been to the Grand Canyon once before this trip and I was quite young but I had no doubt it would be a cool sight for both me and Nate. We did a short hike to the first lookout and made really good time. It was hot and dry, just as you would expect, and after the hike we were extremely dehydrated - so much in fact that neither of us could finish a single beer that night. Well, the pictures below should tell the rest of the story.

I was impressed on how green this spot looked especially with it being as hot as it was.	Another picture of the same spot at the Grand Canyon just a little down the trail.
